Solutions Integrator
49 Solutions is looking for experienced Solutions Integrators interested in Public Sector consulting. This opportunity is geared toward individuals who are interested in providing a detailed migration plan to organize rollout for partners in the shutdown of 200+ data centres on pre-migration tasks and evaluations of service lines. This role can be performed from anywhere in Canada.
Qualifications and Experience:
10+ years of experience as a Solutions Integrator within the last 15 years;
Secret Level II Security Clearance.
Assets:
5+ years of experience using VMWare, Citrix, or Microsoft;
Bachelor's Degree in IT/3 year diploma from a recognized institution.
More Information:
Assessing the existing architectural state of End State Data Centres and providing detailed technical architectures and requirements to successfully automate the deployment of virtual machines and applications in line with the organizational strategies;
Supporting the Windows, Linux, Automation, DNS and Firewall technical teams with operating system modifications, application troubleshooting, and end-state infrastructure configuration (hardware and software systems);
Support both Linux and Windows scripting based operating systems, including deployment and implementation, department wide;
Contributing to Workload Management Reports in order to perform capacity planning;
Engineering services of IT systems, and advising on the extension of the existing environment in order to meet the capacity to support the additional regional remote sites nationwide;
Design and document in detail all system components, interfaces and operational environment;
Produce operational systems documentation including all forms, manuals, programs, data files and procedures.
